Shipping Policy
Mossgate gear is built for trips with deadlines, so we try to get it out the door fast and tell you the truth about when it'll land.
Processing time
Orders placed on a business day before 1:00 PM Pacific Time are picked, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1-2 business days. Weekend and holiday orders start processing the next business day. You'll get a tracking email the moment the label scans.
Domestic shipping (United States)
- Standard shipping: 3-7 business days after processing, via USPS or UPS Ground depending on weight
- Free standard shipping on orders over $40 within the contiguous 48 states
- Expedited (2-day): available at checkout, flat-rate based on weight
- Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories: 5-10 business days, additional charges apply
- PO boxes and APO/FPO: shipped via USPS, allow 1-2 extra business days
International shipping
We don't ship internationally at this time. We're working on Canada and select EU destinations — if you'd like a note when that opens up, email us and we'll add you to the list.
Tracking
Every order ships with tracking. You'll get an email with the carrier and tracking number once the label scans. If tracking hasn't updated within 48 hours of that email, the package is usually still in transit — but write us and we'll chase it down.
Lost, late, or damaged packages
- Late: if a package hasn't moved in 5+ business days, email us with your order number. We'll open a trace with the carrier.
- Lost: if the carrier confirms a package as lost, we'll ship a replacement at no charge.
- Damaged in transit: email a photo of the box and contents within 7 days of delivery. We'll send a replacement or refund — your call.
- Marked delivered but missing: first check with neighbors and household; carriers occasionally scan early. If still missing after 48 hours, contact us and we'll work it out.
Address changes
We can update an address only before the label is generated. After that, you'll need to contact the carrier directly with the tracking number. Pack mistakes happen — email us fast and we'll do what we can.
