By using this website and buying from Mossgate, you agree to the terms below. They're written to be readable, not to hide anything.

About us

Mossgate is a small outdoor gear brand operated by Baby Haven LLC. We design and sell solo overnight kits: a one-person fast-pitch tent, a 3-season sleeping bag, and an insulating pad. Contact: support@babyhavenllc.shop.

Use of the site

You agree to use the site for lawful purchasing and browsing. Don't attempt to compromise the site, scrape it at scale, or use it to harm other users. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate accounts at our discretion — for instance, if pricing on a product is clearly an error.

Product information and specs

We work hard to publish accurate specs — weights, dimensions, temperature ratings, R-values, and materials. Spec numbers are nominal: real-world performance varies with conditions, technique, and individual body type. A 4°C comfort rating assumes a clothed sleeper on an insulating pad in still air; your night will not match the lab exactly. Photos are representative; small fabric color or texture variation is normal across production runs.

Use, care, and field safety

Outdoor gear performs as intended only when used and cared for as instructed. Read the use and care guidance included with each product before your first trip. A few specifics:

Follow manufacturer care and UV exposure guidance for the tent — prolonged sun exposure degrades silicone-coated nylon faster than most people expect.
Down sleeping bags must be stored loose (in the included storage sack, not the compression sack) to preserve loft and warranty.
Inflatable pads should be inflated by mouth or pump only; never with a compressor that introduces moisture or heat.
Tents are not lightning shelters, fire-rated structures, or all-weather expedition shelters. Match the gear to the trip.

You're responsible for assessing conditions, your own experience level, and the suitability of the gear for the trip you're taking. We make solid three-season equipment — we don't make decisions about whether your weekend should happen.

Pricing and orders

Prices are in US dollars and may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel orders affected by an obvious error before they ship, with a full refund. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on shipping address.

Intellectual property

All site content — photos, copy, product designs, and the Mossgate name and marks — is owned by Baby Haven LLC or licensed to us. Don't reproduce it commercially without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Baby Haven LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or products. Our maximum liability for any product is the amount you paid for it.
